Samba Drumming

Picture 1

Samba Drumming Club is for children who enjoy drumming and don't mind lots of loud noises!

The club is held every Wednesday from 3.15 until 4.15 with Mr Collings, our drumming teacher and supported by Miss Page for children in years 4,5 and 6.

During the club we will be working towards a number of performances including entertaining our family and friends, performing at the English Rivera Centre in March as part of the Schools Music Festival and opening sports day in the Summer term.

Summer Fayre Performance - July 2018

We performed for the last time as a group at the School Summer Fayre.  Dressed in green and yellow we entertained the crowds of family and friends and wowed them with our amazing playing!  Thank you Mr Collings for teaching us and helping to improve our Samba playing this year. We hope you enjoyed our performance as much as we did!

Schools Festival of Performing Arts

We performed alongside the Performing Arts Club at the Torbay Schools' Festival of Perfoming Arts on Tuesday 27th March 2018. Our performance was inspired by the film 'Moana' and we wowed the audience with our amazing drumming and performance. Thank you to all who came to watch us and we hope you enjoyed it!

Autumn term performance

We have been working hard this term and were able to share what we had learned with our family and friends. Thank you to all those who came to listen and support us. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
