Welcome

Welcome to Homelands Primary School.

Welcome to our school’s website!

I am very proud to be the Headteacher of such a wonderful school.  Homelands is a warm, nurturing, close-knit school community.  We recognise each child as an individual and celebrate their strengths.  We have high expectations for all and strive to enable each child to achieve their full potential.

At Homelands, learning is an experience to be enjoyed.  Through a rich and broad curriculum, our children acquire the skills and develop the knowledge needed to be empowered critical thinkers and lifelong learners.  We want our children to be prepared for the next stage of their school journey and to aspire to make positive changes in the world beyond school.

Our school values of friendship, respect, independence, curiosity and empowerment are at the heart of our school life and we believe these enable our children to believe, belong and be proud of themselves, each other and our wider community.

We strongly believe our children learn best when there is a partnership between families and school. We foster this through an open-door approach. Our partnership with families allows us to know every child as an individual and we encourage all parents to take an active role in their child’s education.

We have a fantastic, dedicated team of talented and caring staff, whose aim is to ensure progress for all of our children.  I feel privileged to be part of the Homelands community.  I hope that the children leave Homelands having achieved their very best and look back with happy memories of their time at our school.

I hope you enjoy looking through our website; it will give you a flavour of Homelands.  You are very welcome to contact our school office to arrange a visit and discover for yourself how happy and creative our school is.
