KS1 Nativity - December 2019
We performed our Nativity called 'Everyone Loves a Baby'' on the stage at the Princess Theatre. We entertained our friends and family with our wonderful singing and acting. All our teachers were very proud of us and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
On 3rd October, Year 2 visited Torquay Museum as part of our Learning Journey. We have been learning about 'A day in the life of a monarch' and we would like to find out how a museum works, so that we can have our own museum in our classroom next half term. We found out what a curator does, we labelled and catalogued objects to help the museum and we held some old and delicate objects.
' I liked going up all the stairs to the special room and seeing the tiny cook book and the small portrait in a necklace.'
Jayden
' We got to draw a picture of what we thought was interesting. We saw old toys, fossils and animal bones.'
Penny
' I really liked looking at the mummy of a little boy that they have at the museum. It was so interesting!'
Artemis
' I enjoyed going in the room where they keep all of the objects and wearing a glove to hold the old coins.'
