Autumn Term 2020

Creating transient autumn collages. We also used autumn treasures to make face pictures. We created some vegetable printing pictures as well.

We have had lots of fun outside and inside, learning and exploring with our friends. October 2020.

We are having lots of fun learning about autumn in nursery this week. This week we have set up a fruit and vegetable shop in nursery. We are also improving our fine motor skills by pushing golf tees into a giant pumpkin.

Making apple crumble. The children especially enjoyed rubbing in the butter to make the crumble mixture.

Conkers- making a marble run with the conkers. Today we also made smelly playdough with spices.

Making a den for bears!

Today we went searching for autumn treasures in the garden and pond area. This was the first trip to this area of the school for our new children.

Fine motor skills activities. Some of the children put the tiny sticks through the flour shaker holes. They had to really concentrate! We have also started to learn how to make 'story sticks' as part of a whole school art project.

Learning to count with conkers. Autumn maths!

Look at all the fun we have been having on the big field today.

Exploring making sounds with our musical instruments.
