Autumn Term

  Spanish

We have started learning Spanish this term.  We know how to greet each other in Spanish and to what our name is.

Below are some links to games we have played in class.  Try and play some at home!

THE GREAT FIRE OF LONDON

THE GREAT FIRE OF LONDON

KEY QUESTIONS:

HOW DOES THE PAST INFLUENCE THE PRESENT?

WHERE IS THE EVIDENCE THAT TELLS US ABOUT THE PAST?

We learnt about the events of The Great Fire of London and what there is to help us remember.

We looked at how London today is both similar and different to London in 1666 and we talked about what we noticed.

We learnt about all of the keys events of The Great Fire, in particular HOW the fire started and WHY it spread so quickly.

The importance of Samuel Pepys was discussed and we looked at why he was so important to our knowledge of The Great Fire.

Finally, we thought about how London was changed and rebuilt after the Great Fire.

KS1 Nativity - December 2018

We performed our Nativity called 'The Angel Express' on the stage at the Princess Theatre.  We entertained our friends and family with our wonderful singing and acting.  All our teachers were very proud of us and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
