Maths

White Rose

At school the children have been following the White Rose Maths scheme of learning and we are lucky that they have put together a series of lessons for all year groups to support Maths learning at home.

This will enable children to continue following the curriculum they need to learn whilst we go through this uncertain time.

Our topic in Year 3 this week is: Unit and Non-Unit Fractions

Please follow the link below and work through Week 1.  There is a short teaching video and activities to complete for each lesson.  The activities can be completed on the sheets (if you are able to print them), in your work book, or on a piece of paper.  You can then check your own answers to see how well you are doing.

We recommend you spend 30 minutes a day on your maths work but all the daily sessions for week 1 are there if you would like to work at your own pace.

Please note that we are starting on Week 1 (not Summer Week 1 which is a different topic)

Fluency Practice

In addition to this week’s topic please complete your daily fluent in 5 as well as spending time on either Times Tables Rock Stars or Numbots to keep practicing your skills.
