Maths Home Learning: White Rose

At school the children have been following the White Rose Maths scheme of learning and we are lucky that they have put together a series of lessons for all year groups to support Maths learning at home.

This will enable children to continue following the curriculum they need to learn whilst we go through this uncertain time.

Our topic in Year 4 this week is: Dividing by 10 and 100 and learning about hundredths

Please follow the link below and work through Week 2.  There is a short teaching video and activities to complete for each lesson.  The activities can be completed on the sheets (if you are able to print them) or on a piece of paper or work book.  You can then check your own answers to see how well you are doing.

Please remember that we are slightly behind with this maths learning and so are NOT yet ready to start Summer 1 which is labelled (w/b 20th April) - we will do this next week.

Maths Home Learning: Fluency Practice

In addition to this week’s topic please complete your Daily Fluent in 5 as well as spending time on Times Tables Rock Stars to keep practicing your skills

As an optional extra, we've also included two examples of the calculation practise that the children are used to doing in the morning at school as we've had requests for some harder calculations to practise at home.  With these ones, the children choose one calculation to do from each column.  If you want to do even more then you are welcome to make up your own calculations like these.
