Maths Home Learning: White Rose
At school the children have been following the White Rose Maths scheme of learning and we are lucky that they have put together a series of lessons for all year groups to support Maths learning at home.
This will enable children to continue following the curriculum they need to learn whilst we go through this uncertain time.
Our topic in Year 4 this week is: Writing, comparing and ordering decimals.
Please follow the link below and work through Summer 1 - Week 1. There is a short teaching video and activities to complete for each lesson. The activities can be completed on the sheets (if you are able to print them) or on a piece of paper or work book. You can then check your own answers to see how well you are doing.
Please remember that we are slightly behind with this maths learning and so are NOT yet ready to start Summer 1 Week 2 which is labelled (w/b 27th April) - we will do this next week.
Maths Home Learning: Fluency Practice
In addition to this week’s topic please complete your daily fluent in 5 as well as spending time on either Times Tables Rock Stars or Numbots to keep practicing your skills.
*Amazing news for Year 4* Congratulations! Year 4 managed to beat Year 3 in last week's TTRS Weekly Battle. 18 children went on to TTRS from Year 4 - more than in any other class across the school - Well done!
