White Rose

We’re all getting our heads around fractions a little more now and this week our focus switches to equivalent fractions, and comparing and ordering fractions. Use the images to help and remember – fractions gets easier when we learn our multiplication tables.

Our topic in Year 3 this week is: Fractions

Please follow the link below and work through Summer Week 1.  As before, there is a short teaching video and activities to complete for each lesson.  The activities can be completed on the sheets (if you are able to print them), in your work book, or on a piece of paper.  You can then check your own answers to see how well you are doing.

We recommend you spend 30 minutes a day on your maths work but all the daily sessions for week 1 are there if you would like to work at your own pace.

Fluency Practice

Keep up the great work with your daily ‘Fluent in 5’. I had lots of responses last week about how you’re choosing to work out each questions and it’s great to hear about your confidence growing the more you rehearse.

You can continue to work on either Times Tables Rock Stars or Numbots to keep practicing your skills too.
