Harvest Assembly

We had a very special Harvest Themed Assembly today, where we learned about why Harvest Festivals are important to Christians. Reverend Nathan and the Jump Team, students from St Cuthbert Mayne School, came to deliver a really engaging assembly. Reverend Nathan used ‘Fred’ the friendly wolf puppet to help with his storytelling. He shared the story of Boaz with us about a very kind man who shared his food with those in need. The team taught us lively songs, including ‘Let My Light Shine’ and we all joined in with the actions. Reverend Nathan talked about how at Harvest time it is good to think about others in need and that it is a time for kindness and generosity. Thank you Reverend Nathan and the Jump Team for such a lively and engaging assembly!
