Lest we forget

On Tuesday 10th November, Homelands Primary School house captains represented the school in laying a wreath of remembrance at the St Marychurch war memorial. They conducted themselves excellently, demonstrating the maturity and conscientiousness such an event demands. After laying the wreath, our house captains gathered for a moment of silence to remember both the fallen and those who continue to serve our country in the armed forces. Their respect for the sacrifices of our service men and women shows what excellent role models these pupils are to their peers.
