On Friday 7th February 2020, we took part in Number Day to raise money for the NSPCC whilst having lots of fun with maths!
Thank you to all who donated; we raised a fantastic £181 for the NSPCC.
It was most certainly was a fun-filled day of maths and a buzz for all things number filled the air. Children took part in a variety of activates in their classrooms: Who wants to be a Mathionaire, Giant Tug of War, Measure Me and TTRS battles. A data handling workshop in the hall allowed children to 'be the maths': creating a human bar graph and noticing patterns from this. There was also activities around the school including Estimation Station, Teacher Vs Teacher Quiz and What's the Question.
Have a look at just a selection of the photos from the day.
