A bit of background science:
Exercise is essential for maintaining a healthy body. It helps to keep us physically fit by keeping bones and muscles strong, but also helps our cardio-vascular system work effectively, helps us maintain a healthy weight and can improve our balance. Physical exercise also releases chemicals (hormones) in our bodies that help us feel good too.
