The -ed Suffix Song (The Regular Past Tense)

Last week we looked at how to change verbs to show that an action happened in the past we add -ed following two spelling rules:

This week we are looking at what happens when we come across a word that ends in a consonant and a ‘y’ and we wish to change it to past tense.

First we need to remind ourselves of consonants and vowels.
