Homelands Virtual Sports Week

6th-10th July 2020

This year we will be having a sports week with a difference!

There are 12 challenges for the whole school to complete over the week!

Children, family members and teachers will all have a chance to take part in all the challenges whether they are at home or in school. The events are easy to do and no special equipment required!

For every challenge that children participate in they will earn a point for their house and a point towards an individual bronze, silver or gold certificate. Family members taking part will also earn a point for their child’s house.

If you are at home you must send in a photograph of you completing each challenge and your score (Family members as well if they take part!) Do this via your class email.

So, the more challenges you send in, the more points you will earn for your house and the higher award you will receive!

3 levels of participation:

Bronze 1-4 challenges completed,

Silver 5-9 challenges completed,

Gold 10 or more challenges completed.

See below for instructions for each event (there is also a link to a PDF copy if you would like to print it out). You can compete against yourself by doing each challenge a few times and trying to improve on your personal best. You can also compete with your family!

School staff can also earn points for their house, photos still needed as proof of participation!
