Music - Lakshmi and the Clever Washerwoman

The children explored a number of music activities through an ancient Hindu story about the goddess Lakshmi and a clever washerwoman who spies an opportunity when the Queen's new necklace comes into her possession. They focused on rhythm activities and learned about traditional Indian music. They also learned to sing two songs based on the story.
