Spring Term

Samba drumming share - April 2019

This term we have continued to work hard to be able to play the different Samba instruments as a group.  We made up our own patterns and played them by ourselves as part of our performance.  We even managed to teach them to our grown ups who came to see how our drumming skills have developed. Thank you to all who came to our music share and we were very impressed by your drumming skills!

  Spanish

In January Year 3 took part in the 'Doce Uvas'  (12 grapes) challenge! (Lots of people in Spain try and eat 12 grapes in time with the Midnight bell-chimes on New Year's Eve. They believe that if they eat all 12 grapes it will bring them good luck for the next 12 months!)

In our Spanish class the children each ate 12 grape halves to the sound of a bell chiming 12 times. They thought that it was:

'10/10','100/100','tasty!','¡delicioso!','¡fantástico'','¡estupendo!
