Meet Billy Bear. Billy Bear is our class bear. He will come home with your child, at some point, to have an adventure!

Week starting the 27th March.

An Easter egg hunt in the garden. The eggs were delicious!

Planting beetroot in the garden today. What a lovely sunny day! 27th March.

Having fun learning all about Easter. We really enjoyed making chocolate Easter nests.

Today we went on a bug hunt, looking for minibeasts. We found woodlice, spiders, beetles and a bright orange centipede.

We had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day in nursery class. Our author was David McKee, who wrote the Elmer books.

A huge thank you to Layla's parents, we love our new busy builder role play!

Shrove Tuesday. Pancake Day. We made yummy pancakes and then cooked them in class. We all enjoyed eating them! We read the story of Mr Wolf's pancakes. We made playdough pancakes and sandy pancakes outside in the sand pit.

This afternoon we enjoyed making forts with the tyres and inside, we drew pictures of snowdrops, daffodils and catkins. Some of our spring bulbs are now flowering outside.

Week starting the 20th February. We are all enjoying playing with our friends after the half term break. There are also some photos from the Friday before half term.

7th February. We enjoyed the winter sunshine today.

Week starting the 6th February. We are learning about traditional tales. This week we are mainly doing the story of the Three Little Pigs. There are also some photos of last week below. Last week we did the story of little Red Riding Hood.

26th and 27th January. Trips to the sensory room and more Chinese New Year fun.

Week starting the 23rd January. Lots more fun celebrating Chinese New Year! Making fans, kites, blossom trees and money envelopes for our chocolate coins.

Week starting the9th January. we have had lots of fun this week. This week we started to brush our teeth everyday in nursery.

January 10th. Today we continued learning about polar bears. We also enjoyed looking at sea creature x-rays and had lots of fun with phonics.

January the 9th. Today we made icebergs out of paper mache. If you would like to have a go at home, we used 2 cups of flour and 2 cups of warm water mixed together. The children especially enjoyed ripping up the newspaper!

Week starting the 9th January. Lots of creative fun inside and outside. We are really enjoying making friends with our 4 new children.
