Step One

Step 1-   Identifying Materials:
 

In identifying materials, we will find out how the object (example: table) is different from the material (example: wood) which it is made from.

Go around your own home and list the objects you see and the materials they are made from.

Once you have completed this activity, I would like for you to think about and discuss the following questions:

What material appears the most on your list?
What if everything in your home was made from the same material?
