we have been learning about the Caribbean. Thank you so much Layla and her family for bringing in some yummy Caribbean foods and lots of interesting resources to help us learn. we have also been looking at some real fish!

Our new topic is under the sea.

Today we have continued learning about Africa and the story of 'Handa's Surprise'. We made pasta necklaces. We also enjoyed playing with the slime!

Today we made fruit baskets like in the story 'Handa's Surprise'. We also did a lovely puppet show with African animal puppets.

Our new topic is Handa's Surprise a story set in Africa.

Another Coronation party!

Thank you Friends of Homelands School! The friends have donated a lovely little packet of seeds for all of the children at nursery to plant at home to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles. They also kindly donated some extra seed for us to sow in our garden area. The children were busy weeding and preparing the ground ready to sow the seeds later today. Eliana found a friendly snail.

Week starting the 24th of April. Continuing our Eid topic.

Week starting the 18th March. Celebrating Eid. On Tuesday we had a dance teacher called Polly teaching us to dance in the hall. We had so much fun and look forward to seeing Polly every week until half term. We also planted lots of plants in the garden. We planted strawberries, pumpkins, beetroot, sweetcorn and tomatoes.
