Updates

Following School Council attending their first Governors meeting they received an email from Mrs D Wilson thanking them for on-going hard work and dedication to school life.

Dear Ms Bradford and School Council members,

Thank you very much for meeting The Governors last night. It was a delight to listen to all your ideas for the playground and outside spaces  and how you feel it can be improved. We were very impressed that you were all confident speakers and listened to each other in turn.
It was really interesting to hear about how the older year groups support playtime's through Playground Buddies and Peer mediators, this shows how mature you are.
We were very impressed that you had already begun fundraising  to buy special play equipment for school too! this shows great initiative and thought. Your involvement in writing a whole school policy about safety on-line is amazing and very commendable.
A big thank you to Ms Bradford for enabling this meeting to happen and with such a fabulous number of School Council present too!
Mr Codd did say if you have other ideas about school you would like Governors to know about he would be happy to hear from you.
One last thank you to all your grown ups from home who made it possible for you to meet us.
You are all great ambassadors for school and a credit to it also.
Best Wishes,
Mrs Wilson and all the Governors.
We all look forward to meeting you again

School Council meeting with our Governors.

School Council have been really busy this term with ordering new playground equipment for the school.

During the meeting Dolly suggested fundraising for new equipment and already we are in the process of organising

exciting opportunities to raise some money. We will keep you updated with our first venture very soon.

There is some exciting new events coming up for the School Council to be part of in the new year.

Our first School Council breakfast will be held on Monday 18th November at 8.15am.

What a great way to start the day with a breakfast of Croissants, Pain au Chocolate, pancakes and waffles!

We had a really nice start to the day with breakfast set up in the Library and a time for us all to chat and share ideas.

It was a really successful breakfast and we will look at hosting one every Half Term where possible.
