Literacy - Poetry

We have been looking at poetry in our last weeks of year 3 and together have started writing a poem!

 

An alphabet of our class and our hidden animals:

A is for Ahsan who has an anaconda

around his waist,

C is for Callum who has a capybara

in his cupboard of toothpaste,

D is for Diyon who has a dingo 

in the dishwater licking the plates,

E is for Elsie who has an English Bull Terrier 

who sometimes hides in an emerald crate,

F is for Freddie who has fireflies

flying under the shade of his lamps,

I is for Ivy who has an iguana 

beneath her garden porch ramp,
