We are inviting our children to support a very special Easter fundraising event in aid of 'When You Wish Upon A Star', a wonderful charity that grants magical wishes to children living with life-threatening illnesses.
Children can win the Easter hamper (photo attached) by guessing the name of the Jellycat bunny inside. There are 200 entries with a maximum of 2 entries per child at £2 a go (cash only). Please come to the office at drop off or pick up to take part. The competition will close next Wednesday, 1st April and the winner will be announced on Thursday 2nd April.
When You Wish Upon A Star grants wishes to children across the UK who are living with life-threatening conditions, creating precious memories for them and their families during incredibly difficult times. Your support will make a real difference to these children and their loved ones. All proceeds from the event will go directly to When You Wish Upon A Star to help them continue their incredible work.

Our Christmas dinner went down a treat! We would like to say a special thank you to Mr Lee and his team for preparing and cooking us a delicious meal. We loved pulling our crackers and our shortbread Christmas tree dessert!
We have been embracing Autumn in After School Club this week with some cosy chill time, firework and glitter art and getting some quick fresh air whilst the sun set!
On Friday 24 October, pupils at Homelands took part in an exciting democratic event to elect their new class parliament representatives. Each candidate shared their ideas for the school, and every child had the opportunity to vote. It was a fantastic example of pupil voice in action, and we’re proud of everyone who took part.
Winners will be announced shortly.
This week we made bracelets in After School Club and played outside in the sunshine. We designed our bracelets first and then put our creative skills into practice!
Miss Chappell treated us to some shiny new trikes in Foundation! We love them and have promised her we will look after them!
We battled the warm weather with ice poles and film night in After School Club this week.
Year 1 had a great time in Forest School this week. The sun was shining, they toasted marshmallows and ate s'mores!
As part of our World Book Day celebrations, each class chose a fairy tale to build their learning around.
Part of our learning was to create a classroom door based on the story.
At the end of the 2 days, Mrs Murdoch and Mrs Urquhart judged the doors and chose Year 4 as the winning door in KS2 and Year 2 as the winning KS1 door.
Well done to all of the classes! All of the doors look amazing!
