  • World Book Day Fairytale doors

    Tue 11 Mar 2025

As part of our World Book Day celebrations, each class chose a fairy tale to build their learning around.

Part of our learning was to create a classroom door based on the story.

At the end of the 2 days, Mrs Murdoch and Mrs Urquhart judged the doors and chose Year 4 as the winning door in KS2 and Year 2 as the winning KS1 door.

Well done to all of the classes! All of the doors look amazing!

  • Eat Them to Defeat Them

    Tue 11 Mar 2025

The children have worked hard to defeat those pesky vegetables by eating them. The kitchen provided some vegetables for the children to eat and all year groups were keen to try them.

Some children found they like some veg that they thought they didn't. We could hear lots of "I am eating them to defeat them!"

It has been lovely to hear how children are trying veggies at home and adding stickers to their charts. We will continue to much our way to victory!
