Table maths

In maths we have been using place value counters to demonstrate how the four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) work with decimals. Each coloured counter represented a specific value such as ones, tenths or hundredths. 

Remembrance day service

DT week - Pizza making

In year 6, we spent the week designing, making and evaluating pizzas. We started off by taste-testing lots of different ingredients to decide what we would like on our pizzas. Then we thought about who we were designing our pizzas for and what they would like on them. On Monday, we spend the whole morning making and cooking the pizzas - it got very messy. We shared them with our families when we got home and they loved them!
