Academisation Consultation

Academisation Consultation

At Homelands, we want to ensure that all our children get the very best experience of school that we can provide. With this in mind, the Governor Body has been considering whether our school should join a multi-academy trust (MAT) or remain within the Local Authority.  As a result of this, they have concluded that joining a MAT could be beneficial to Homelands and that, Education South West (ESW), is our preferred multi-academy trust.

Joining ESW could offer significant benefits for our children, staff, and the broader school community. However, we want to ensure that this decision best meets the needs of our stakeholders.  Therefore, governors would like to consult with all stakeholders, to hear any questions or thoughts they may have about the proposal.

The consultation period will run from Friday 4th October until Friday 8th November 2024.  To give your views, please see below.  At the end of the consultation period, the Governing Body will review all feedback and make a final decision about whether to proceed with joining ESW.

The Consultation Process

The consultation period will run from 9 am on Friday 4th October until 5 pm on Friday 8th November 2024.
