I currently teach Year 4 here at Homelands, having been in post for several years in different positions across KS2. I strongly believe in our school ethos and values which aim to create passionate, critical-thinking and life-long learners.
I grew up in Derbyshire and studied at universities in Aberystwyth and Leicester before taking my first teaching post in south Derbyshire. After a sun-filled trip to the South West, I decided to make the move to Torbay and it has been my home ever since.
As both a teacher and governor at Homelands, I am determined to harness our children's natural curiosity and open their eyes to the cultural and scientific capital of our country and beyond.
