Grandpa's Great Escape.

World Book Day

We had a fantastic 2 days celebrating our love of reading and seeing all the children dressed up as their favourite characters was truly wonderful.

As part of our WBD activities, we held a drawing  competition, where the children had to draw their favourite book cover, which then had the chance to be replicated for our library door! 

The winner was Harley from Year 5, with his amazing drawing of Grandpa’s Great Escape, by David Walliams. Year 3 were tasked with bringing his design to life and worked really hard on the design, led by Miss Bradford.
